Grand Master Nils Onsager 7th Dan has spent years dedicated to his martial art of Hapkido. Continuely learning and growing his self defence curriculum to ensure that it stays practical and realistic with techniques designed to help you get out a potentially dangerous situation. Originally from the USA he still runs and owns a successful Hapkido School. He now is helping his Australian wife open her own school here (Black Knight Martial Arts Australia). Mater Nils is affiliated and graded under the US Hapkido Association.

You will find GM Nils Teaching in some of our classes, mentoring not only Shantal but all of our Black Belts to ensure quality technique is being passed on to upcoming students. All gradings will be officiated by him.
