Hapkido
Two Kings Hapkido is the perfect blend of self-defence, striking, throws, joint locks, ground defence and weapons. Hapkido is a traditional Korean Martial Art which has adapted with modern times. Hapkido’s philosophy is to use your opponent’s force against them. Hapkido is primary about self defence so you are taught how to defend yourself then restrain your opponent. Hapkido's joint locks are commonly used in the police and security industries.
Our Hapkido affiliation is with Black Knight Martial Arts and have both Grand Master Nils Onsager 7th Dan and Master Mellisa (U.S. Hapkido Association) Johnson 4th Dan training with us and teaching on the floor. Our Sister Clubs are Black Knight Gold Coast and Black Knight in Florida U.S.A.
The extensive and well thought out syllabus and teaching structure is delivered to students with a mindfulness and realistic approach to self defence. Students will earn their Black Belt through extensive training based on trying to get yourself safely out of any self defence situation.
Come experience this complete self defence system while working towards achieving your black belt. Your fitness and confidence will increase, and you will gain a family to support you along the way.
